Lutheran Church Easter Vigil

My Lutheran Church this year is having an Easter Vigil service. I have never attended one and have read alot about them on CAF and they seem awesome. I am really looking forward to it. :bounce:

I feel like it is rare for a Lutheran Church to have Easter Vigil. Do any other Lutheran or other Non-Catholics have Easter Vigil Services?

Ours is. It has been rare, but like many others, this is something American Lutherans seem to be recovering. The new LCMS hymnal even has an outline of the service.

Our Episcopal Church is having a vigil service as well as an overnight vigil. People sign up for an hour or more and then spend that hour of the night with the Sacrament in prayer.
