I think Converts to the Catholic Faith get special graces as you might notice Converts are Great Catholics, I think its partly because of these special graces the Lord gives us and the fight we had to go through to win this prize, anything you fight for is always more prized than when its given freely. If Catholics really understood there faith there hearts would be filled with joy every moment of the day for the gift they have received, what a shame they don’t read up on there religion as they would on make up, fashion/football etc.

Following the Church precepts makes one free in life and its so uplifting.:signofcross:

Awesome and good news. Yes, in my personal experience ( I am not a convert) I have found that converts to the faith have a special love and passion for Christ and his Church.

Sometimes I feel this way as I’m on my conversion journey. The Catholic faith is such a gift! I hope impassioned converts can help cradle Catholics who have not found their joy in the faith as readily as the convert. We should all pray for one another, of course, on this journey!

made up his own interpretation, the Lord left his Church to Peter and his Apostles, may I
suggest if you ever get a chance to read the “Church Fathers” mind blowing.

I will keep you always in my prayers especially since you have to break the news to your parents, not easy, but be kind, loving, as they have done there best and brought you up in the light of there lights on the matter. Things like " I like my religion BUT I have read why and how it came about,but I am looking for the fullness of Christianity not glimmers or part of, and I have come to this decision for myself that I am going under Catholic instruction, in other words I am going back to what our family was before the reformation. I still love you and respect you, but on this one matter I have to answer to God for my Soul.

Even write a letter to them, telling them you will talk to them later about it, if you prefer it this way. Either way, May Our Lord be with you, and I will pray for you always. :bowdown::signofcross:

The good news is you can still be a block head stubborn German and be catholic my grandfather was born in germany and his family had been Lutheran since the reformation. His brother was a Lutheran minister. He converted!!! And remained a stubborn German. Look pope Benedict is such a perfectionist german he had to step down. Half of Germany has always been catholic
