I work in a tourism industry.
And I plan to initiate the programs for visitig Lviv by the school groups from Ukraine , Russia m and Belarus.
I wonder if there are some excursions which would be based on the ‘‘Catholic heritage of Lviv’’.
Ukraine is an Orthodox country and In some areas of Ukraine , children can not see such a beautiful architectural buildings , Cathedrals and Monasteries.
Lviv has a Catholic history.
So , I was thinking , beside the offering accommodation , which is my field of activity , I could offer the excursions around Lviv’s Christian heritage places.
The groups frequently asks about excursions.
I am not from Lviv my self.
So , I wonder , if beside the city tours , castles tours , there are some specific excursions about Lviv’s Christian ( Catholic ) heritage.
If not , then may be some Polish or Ukrainian ethnographers know about scale of the places which is worthy to visit for kids for their cultural , educational and spiritual development and nice impressions about Lviv history ?

Sacral Lviv is a three hour walking tour, contact Krylos.com

Threse are great Catholic places to see on a tour if you want to build your own tour:

Roman Catholic Cathedral Basilica of the Assumption of the BVM - (Gothic)
Armenian Catholic Cathedral - (Mehoffer mosaics) - Virmenska 7
Boim Chapel (very ornate late renaissance)
Greek Catholic Cathedral of St. George (Rococo style) - St. Yura Square 5
Greek Catholic Church of the Most Holy Eucharist (was Dominican)
Greek Catholic Church of St. Elizabeth (neo-gothic style)

I found out that Krylos.com is a good web site , but they do intermediating service for accommodation and excursions.
They are not direct source which deals with a ''Sacral Lviv ‘’ excurions.
I think some monasteries or churches must have those specialists in these excursions.
