How can it be demonstrated that the LXX of Jesus’ day included the deuterocanon?
The fact that protestants don’t accept them is irrelevant. They basically don’t accept most of the Church’s teachings either.I’ve tried the references Jesus and the Apostles make to the deuteros to no avail. Some protestants just won’t accept them.
The Dead Sea Scrolls have three of the seven deuterocanonical books of our canon, which establishes a reasonable benefit of assumption for all seven books and even for all the books in Orthodox canon (though not to state their canons are valid.)How can it be demonstrated that the LXX of Jesus’ day included the deuterocanon?
