For those of you who have had a natural m/c prior to 10 weeks…

Did you see anything that looked certain to be the baby?
If so, what did you do or wish you had done?

**I’ve had many m/c, but I’ll be honest and say I didn’t exactly umm dig in the toilet or through the clots to find evidence and they don’t give you anything after a d&c.:o 😊 **

**I have a friend who is m/c at home today and she’s heard some terrible stories, the poor dear.😦 **

Thank you.
I would actually prefer you to send a private message, if possible.

Martha,
This is what the net says about the size:
Baby’s Length: 1.25 - 1.75 in.
Baby’s Weight: <.25 oz.
Baby’s Size: Grape
Code:
                                              [Pregnancy Tracker: Week 10](http://www.parents.com/parents/pregnancyTracker/week.jsp?week=10)
I suppose you could identify parts at that size

I miscarried at four and a half weeks, so the baby would have been smaller than a grain of rice. I chose not to search through all the clots, because I know my baby died fairly early (from the beta levels) and consequently would not be able to be distiguished from tissue I passed.

In some ways I wish I had saved everything and buried it in the yard, but honestly my baby was so very small, I think it would have been even more traumatic to search every time I went to the bathroom. Also, I had some of my miscarriage at the doctor’s office bathroom, so it wouldn’t have been easy to save everything.

Either way, it is really hard. I’ll be praying for your friend.
