Please join me in praying for M. My family and I don’t know her particularly well, but she used to go to our former parish until a controversy involving the Archbishop and this parish made her decide to stop going to Mass. I was hoping that she was waiting for the Archbishop’s pending resignation to be accepted, and then she would start coming to Mass again. We ran into her today and it’s worse than we thought. She said that the controversy and some other things made her have a “bad feeling” about the Catholic Church, and presumably she never wants to go back again. There is a chink in her armor, though She admitted that she’s going to feel strange not going to Mass on Easter Sunday. I hope this isn’t a terrible thing to pray for, but I’m praying that that feeling will get so strong that she will have to go to Mass. If she does go, it would most likely be at our new parish, and this would be a good start.

** Hail Mary, full of grace.
Our Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit of thy womb,
Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God,
pray for us sinners,
now and at the hour of our death.
Amen. **

Praying to the Holy Spirit to give M guidance, direction, strength, fortitude & wisdom back to the Church.

Saint Michael, the archangel, defend us in battle, be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the devil, may God rebuke him, we humbly pray. And do you, O’ Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God thrust into Hell Satan and all the other evil spirits who prowl about the world for the ruin of souls.

Amen.

†

Our Father who art in Heaven, hallowed be thy name.

Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread.

And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.

And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.

Amen.

O Blood and Water, which gushed forth from the Heart of Jesus as a fount of mercy for us, I trust in You!

Jesus, I trust in You!

Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, I trust in You!

Amen.
