Is the Magnificat magazene a good publication? Where does it fall on the trad publication spectrum?
 
Knitty I wouldn’t worry about trying to find something that fits into the “trad spectrum.” If the magazine offers a free trial or copy check it out and see if you like it. As someone in the process in conversion you don’t want to start heading down the path of thinking anything that doesn’t label itself as “trad” is to be avoided.

I have ONLY heard good things about Magnificat, and those things came from orthodox Catholics. 👍
 
It’s pretty decent. My church was giving them away for free so I took one, and I didn’t think there was anything wrong with it.
 
I like it; I’ve used it in both English and Spanish, including while on pilgrimages led by members of a local monastic community.

I make sure to get a copy for my mom and me each month.
