Tigers lost 6-0 last night, and have yet to score in regulation innings this season. Hopefully that streak ends today.

So the Dodgers put up 18 runs last night! Someone needs to tell them that this isn’t football.

True that. Hopefully they saved some runs for today.

How are the A’s doing so far?

I didn’t get a chance to see their series against Seattle, but they’ve looked good against the Angels, if not a bit messy. Their starting pitchers haven’t let in any runs all series, but their relief pitchers have let the Angels break out late two games in a row. At that point, it comes down to whether or not they can recover fast enough and score enough to make up for it, but that’s not exactly sustainable for a full season.

At the very least, it’s entertaining, and they’ve already given us this little gem of a quote:

Tigers finally got some scoring in regulation, with a 3 spot in the top of the 7th. Of course, then one of our relievers had to go and blow the lead. Thankfully, we got the win in the 11th.

Big day for Jeimer Candelario - five hits.

A’s looked better today. With the exception of the 1st and 9th innings, the Angels never really looked threatening, and the A’s had plenty of scoring opportunities that they just didn’t capitalize on.

Now it’s time for Boston, though, and I imagine that that’ll be a tougher series than the Angels.

Tigers scored 3 today and beat the Yankees. Always good to see the Yankees lose.

Tigers’ closer Shane Greene set a major league record by recording 7 saves in the Tigers’ first 10 games.

Going to be going a bit light on baseball for the time being, now that the Stanley Cup playoffs have started.

Some thoughts so far:
  • Still a bit concerned about the A’s sustainability. Them being swept twice already this season doesn’t help.
  • I might have been wrong about Profar. I still haven’t forgotten that error against Boston, though, and good batting can only do so much.
  • Khris Davis is Khrushing it, as is expected.
  • Laureano. Enough said.
