This guys posts are becoming more and more sexist and offensive. He does not attack men with whom he disagrees with such sexist and contempt.
No male has been so obstinate as to not check out opposing websites.

You’re attacks on my credentials have been no less vitrious,

When have I attacked you in your profession?
Review your posts. BTW…I’m trying to draw an analogy between my knowledge in your expertise and your knowledge of my expertise. If it hit a nerve…that’s what its intent was.

If you were black and you knew that I am white…would that bring up the racist card?

How are regular people like us, who aren’t scientists, supposed to know which scientists are telling the truth?

So - has the Antartic ice cover increased? Yes or No.
Sea ice in the Arctic has been decreasing at roughly 4.5% per decade; sea ice in the Antarctic has been increasing at roughly 0.5% per decade. The problem with citing the ice melting in the Arctic is that the Earth has two poles, and at the other pole the ice is increasing.

But then would not the total decrease be 4.5 - 0.5 or 4% ?

It would seem that the majority of the world’s scientists do agree on global warming

Actually, it would seem that a majority of the polled members of the American Association for the Advancement of Science do agree on global warming. That’s not exactly “a majority of the world’s scientists,” and as they don’t have membership numbers easily available on their web site, who-knows-what percentage of US scientists were included in their poll.

Neil Anthony, I am with you in this question. Not being a black-and-white thinker I am convinced there are always two sides to a question. While I tend to be convinced that we are headed for perilous climatological times, I want to see the ideas on both (indeed, all) sides of this complex issue. Some people seem violently opposed to the idea that that is any truth to the concerns of much of the world about global warming. But to the people of Bolivia and Africa and Asia and the Maldives and Tuvalu and Bangladesh and Holland and Florida and many other coastal and montane areas, there are very real climatological threats to their lives and livelihoods.

When I led a climb of Mt. Hood in Oregon a year ago, I was shocked to find that the upper lobe of the fifty-foot thick Palmer Glacier is half the size it was when I climbed it only five years ago, in 2003.
