The daily burden of knowing you gave, and will give, your all
(until or if the burden crushes the ability to continue) and yet it does not seem your all, and your sacrifices aren’t enough). I’ve known several priests who end the end, could not continue, with the heavy weight of loss of identity, and purpose.
It was the burden that Jesus Christ whose last days were met with abandonment, torture, loneliness, the seeming failure of His life of giving, teaching, and goodness.
The cross is seldom lighter for those who follow him.
