Let’s go contemporary.
“Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Degree”, in which Harry goes to seminary to get his degree in philosophy.
“Harry Potter and the Chamber of the Vatican Secret Archives”, in which Harry goes to the Vatican Secret Archives for a school assignment and discovers a shocking assassination attempt on Pope Pius XII that the Nazis attempted, only to be thwarted by devout Catholic Italians living in Rome. This assassination attempt comes after Pius XII secretly ordered nuns to help transport Jews, which draws Hitler’s anger. This ends up vindicating Pope Pius XII from the eyes of the world.
“Harry Potter and the Priest Prisoner”. For his pastoral formation assignment, Harry becomes involved in prison ministry. There he finds a priest in jail who was falsely accused of sex abuse. That priest’s lawyer sucked, and the priest got sentenced to jail.
“Harry Potter and the Chalice of the Pope”. A tournament is played among the transitional Deacons, where the winner receives the Pope’s Chalice for when they become priests. Shockingly, the Chalice is stolen by Freemasons, and thus the Freemason invasion into the church commences
“Harry Potter and the Order of Preachers”. The Pope, needing someone to combat the Freemason invasion, orders a religious order to take down the Freemasons. The Pope considers the Jesuits over the Dominicans, but then realizes that the Protestants are still alive and the Albigensians aren’t, so the Pope sends the Dominicans instead. Harry works with his Dominican priest professor to combat the Freemasons.
“Harry Potter and the Half-Catholic Priest”. In Harry’s seminary, there’s this person going around who vandalizes the seminary, calling himself the “Half-Catholic Priest”. Harry investigates, and discovers the “Half-Catholic Priest” is actually his Dominican Priest Professor, who then abuses him (don’t worry, not explicit). Harry also learns that the “Half-Catholic Priest” is also a Freemason (hence the Half-Catholic Priest title) Disheartened and traumatized, Harry leaves the Church as a result of this betrayal.
“Harry Potter and the Deadly Sins”. Harry lives a life of debauchery with the Deadly Sins and is broke. He decides to sue the Church and he falsely accuses a Cardinal to do so. The Cardinal forgives him Cardinal Bernardin style, and Harry ends up dropping the charges. Harry reconciles with the Cardinal and then with the Catholic Church and God. This inspires the “Half-Catholic Priest” to give up his ways, and the “Half-Catholic Priest” takes down the Freemasons.
So this is what happens when you combine the true events of Cardinal Bernardin’s life with Harry Potter.
