This is last year’s project, done with layers of blue tissue paper and some blocking paper, which can be just newspaper. It’s a Christmas card to the neighborhood…
These photos are taken from inside the room (bedroom) during the day. Once it’s dark, which is darn early now, we leave the light on in the room so the scene is illuminated for the neighbors. It’s lovely to have this over the holidays…

It’s a 2 window scene. The one window. I made one lamb out of just white paper so it looks different from the others, foreshadowing the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world…

The other window. I hope it looks like a town in the distance, under that star…

Blue tissue paper lends itself well to illustrate distant hills. I gently ironed the folds out and taped them together to fill that size of window. It was fun!
If anyone has other ideas I would love to hear them. I did do the 3 magi with their camels traveling the hills, looking at the star.
