What a beautiful idea. The last Confession I went to, the time offered was only 30 minutes. I was praying beforehand, and the priest went to leave 15 minutes early! No one else was there. I made my Confession, but really felt like I was keeping him.

What a great idea!! There are so many times when I wish I could go for confession, and it rarely seems to happen on Saturdays. This would be a sure-fire way to get more people to take advantage of the sacrament!
I’m going to have to mention this to our pastor - I hope he likes the idea and can figure out a way to make it work at our parish.

I was thinking it was another ‘confession by internet’ thing, but it was this great idea with very good comments. I am lucky enough to have many confessors/parishes to choose from, but this is a good idea. Even my large parish only does it 1 1/2 hours a week total.
