Making Fun of Jesus

[RandA]

Right, until someone draws a Muhammad cartoon… . I notice no one is mentioning Islam in this discussion. The self-censorship we have trained ourselves into is amazing…

That was my thought exactly… we as Christians believe in free will and reason - we don’t want to promote or force that type of censorship!

Abbadon,
Though you are trying to be inclusive and objective on this matter, you’re actually forcing your own views of Jesus and Christians. You say we “idolize” Him as if it is our own subjective motivation to worship Him and not, as we believe, His due as being God. So, in reality, you are saying we are mistaken in our faith - which is fine if only you would be more open about it.

And again, you assume a lot when you say there is no difference between Jesus and a cow - you assume that our subjective belief is what makes them important, and not our response to objective reality. All you’re really doing is telling us that we’re making up our faith and beliefs. At least be up front with us about it.
