I may be a bit young to have a girlfriend but for the future I have a feeling not many girls would exactly want to go out with me at first glance lol. So it sinful if you use tactics which can make the girl start to like you. Tactics like talking, making her laugh, Doing her favours etc…?
I am wondering if that is a bit manipulative i don’t know really.

Getting a girl to do you favours is NOT going to make her like you. I hope you meant doing favours for her.

Also, what is sinful about ‘talking and making her laugh’. I thought that is what we do with people we care about

I will edit the post. I can be a bit to scrupolous but I just thought it could be a bit manipulative if she doesn’t like you but then you use tactics to make her attraction for you grow but thank you a lot .

Chatting, joking and so on makes you friendlier and makes people, including girls, want to spend more time with you. From that simple fact, dating opportunities may appear.

But this is a general advice, that happy, easy to talk to, cheerful people have an easier time making contact. I didn’t mean you should fake it for a date.

It depends. What makes you think she doesn’t like you. Perhaps she just doesn’t know you and in her mind you are even at the aquaintance stage

Or did she point blank say ‘I don’t like you stay away from me’ In which case you should move on

Few people want to go out with anyone at first glance. Girls often aren’t as shallow as they’re made out to be. Trite as it may sound, you just gotta put yourself out there, be friendly, and be yourself.

Sounds like the snake in the apple tree,
and how he got Eve to do his bidding …

“ Did God say that to you “ ( he laughs then she laughs )

No, not sinful and, in fact, the ONLY way to have a chance at a female liking you (as opposed to “making” her like you which is impossible).
The worst I’ve ever heard, though, was about a guy who took a fancy to a woman who happened to be a cigarette smoker. He thought he’d have to smoke with her to have a chance, even though he never smoked before. Long story short, he ended up an addicted smoker and they broke up less than one year later.

It’s a bit strange because the said she doesn’t like me and never would but then we have good conversations so the signals are a bit mixed but anyway it is ok, guess I’ll just have to wait and see

Yeah, no. She said she doesn’t like you: assume she’s telling the truth and move on.

When girls/women say “no,” they almost always genuinely mean “no.”

As long as you’re not pretending to be someone else entirely, what you’re talking about is the normal process of trying to get to know someone.

At your age though, I wouldn’t worry so much about dating. Work on getting to know girls just as people. It’ll make it easier later on because you’ll be less awkward.

This is a red flag. This isnt a 1980s romantic comedy. If she told you she isnt interested, stop trying to date her. Full stop. I think she made it clear she is not interested.

The " tactics " which you are refering too is called Flirting, that is normal.

Now Flirting becomes a " Tactic " when you are truely not interested in the female and then it turns into using the female for what ever intended purpose you may have.

An it doesnt have to be in terms of dating, it can be in general , " Acting nice " to someone , when you could careless about the person, to use that person to advance your own personal agenda.

But lets say you are a dirt bag of a person and get your rocks off by hurting women you date, an you use a " tactic " to befriend her by making her laugh etc , then that too falls into congrats you are a scum bag and probably have commited some kind of sin to what degree who knows.

If you are not a scum bag, an you cant tell the difference between flirting and " tactics " then it is probably something around self esteem issues you are dealing with. An who doesnt deal with that to some degree.

Ah looks like she rejected ya too, well, welcome to the world of rejection, she isn’t sending you any mixed messages, she just likes you as a friend. An finds you to be personable. Now if she were doing more like hanging all over you, kissing you in any degree, or letting you pay for her meals or etc with out ever returning the favor, then that would be a safe bet that she is sending you actual mixed signals and then it isn’t even mixed, she would then be just using you.

Yeah. No means no. People who pretend it doesnt are crossing a serious red line.

You have been friend zoned. Move on. But given you are only 14, just make friends and have fun In mixed company.

Yes, just get to know people as people rather than trying to make them like you.

As others have said, she’s friendzoned you. She probably likes you as a friend, hence talking to you, but not as anything more. Respect that.

No means no, kids.

You were friend zoned. Girls do that a lot. You have 2 choices, stay in the friend zone or walk away
