Some things to take note of;

false understanding of active participation
how Jesus actually sat at the last supper and Ad Orientem
Latin
Silence
Receiving in the Hand
Eucharist as mere feast
Organic growth and how archaelogism is wrong
Do it yourself liturgy

And that recent buzzword that traditionalists have supposedly made up “organic growth”.

Ad Orientem, “I am my people we are before you O God.”

Keep in mind, Benedict XVI choose this man and take note of his position… sumorum pontificam, altar crucifix, EF parish in Rome, new Papal MC, celebrating ad orientem, atlar rails. And I’m sure Our Holiness has much more up his sleeve, stay tuned.

I argue the same positions, tell me, is His Excellency a know it all brat? after all I’m accused of as much for taking his position. Also take note of his description of the NO as plane and EF as a boat, that too comes close to my own position.

with this, I depart the forums.
Pax.

That man deserves to have a red hat and become a prince of the Church.

Archbishop Ranjith would be an amazing future Pope.

Speaking of him becoming a Cardinal, there’s been talk recently of his future position. Some Cardinals are retiring or moving on this year, and so where Archbishop Ranjith will end up is kind of up in the air. He may be promoted to Head the Congregation for Divine Worship. He also would be very effecitve as head the Pontifical Commission Ecclesia Dei, and Cardinal Hoyos is already 79 years old, while Ranjith is still in his fifties.

There’s also talk of him returning to be Archbishop of Sri Lanka, which would guarantee him a Cardinal’s hat, but he would lose his sway in Rome. Either way, there are two spots open for Cardinal electors now, and three or four more Cardinals turn eighty this year, so I think there’s plenty of space for him.

Wherever he is, he’ll be great. I think Benedict has given him a high place in Rome so he can say things that Benedict is thinking, but can’t say out loud because of the controversy he’d stir up.

There’s also some great pictures of him at The New Liturgical Movement celebrating Pontifical High Mass in Austria. He’s really become a celebrity since SP!
