Well the “sane” government of California made it official last year. A boy who feels like a girl can use the girls bathroom, join the girls sports teams and if the team is away on a sporting event can stay in the same hotel rooms and use the shower rooms the same as all the other girls. They won’t treat him any differently yes he CAN use the **showers! **

It seems to me they’re just not living in the real world. They want the world to be re-created to revolve around them and their obvious illness. They aren’t going to be able to realistically go throughout their entire life with everyone catering to their every whim and need. They have this little wall built up around them, for now, but once they grow up and have to be in the real, grown-up world, they will find they need to just “fit in” somewhere and stop this nonsense.

I do wish the news would just quit making such a hayday of all of this. If it’s all so “normal”, then why does it have to be talked to death? If it’s “normal,” then they should just get on with it and stop talking about it constantly, or at all. You’re right in that sense. It’s unbelievable that we’ve even come to this, as a society, wondering what sex/ gender we are. It’s a confusion that some people have, and they should be helped, it shouldn’t just be encouraged. There is compassion for these people, there is tolerance, from what I can see, but it’s gone beyond that. We celebrate it when we should be trying to help them. And they are hurting people, in a sense. Look at AIDS. They hurt each other, and there are others affected through blood transfusions who could get AIDS as well. It really isn’t anything to treat so lightly and fun and celebratory, the way our society has.
Umm…a person on my moms side died of AIDS and it’s no laughing matter. Anyone can get AIDS and gender has nothing to do with it. Here is a link on AIDS if you need to know more. aids.gov/hiv-aids-basics/hiv-aids-101/how-you-get-hiv-aids/

I totally agree with loving the people who have Same Sex Attraction. We need to welcome them and help them whenever and wherever we can. BUT, I do not agree this means accepting their lifestyle. Neither does it mean my rejection of that lifestyle should cause me to be labeled a “homophobe”. We also have rights to our thoughts and beliefs. My opinions on transgenders are pretty much the same.

I also think our priests should be teaching us how to “love the sinner, hate the sin”. My baby boomer generation could especially use some helpful guidance.

God Bless You.
