As younger children, it’s appropriate. For obvious reasons, it seems inappropriate as teenagers.
But is it necessarily always wrong?
Two friends of mine, a sixteen year old male, and a fifteen year old female, had a ‘sleepover’ the other night. They’re both heterosexual, but he is in a relationship with another female (who had no problem with this, as she trusted him). They have been best friends since they were five, and the parents had no problem with it. There have, however, been multiple people approaching them saying it’s wrong.
They were in the living room, not a bedroom. She slept on the couch, and he on the floor. Her mom came in and checked on them multiple times.
I don’t see any problem with that, but a lot of people do. Is this an okay thing to do?
