Usually it’s the guys you don’t want to see wearing a speedo that are wearing the speedos…the only exception I can think of is the Olympic swimmers.🤷😃
Usually its the girls who shouldn’t be wearing the string bikinis who you see wearing te string bikinis. Not so sure about the Olympic swimmers, some of whom have shoulders like weightlifters. 😃 There are some truly horrible sights to be seen on our beaches at times, so what is it that makes these people feel comfortable in skimpy swim wear? False pride? Over confidence? Hubris?! Or just plain dumb?

I believe in practical modesty. For example I prefer wearing a “speedo” style swimming suit over a trunk style for the following reasons:
  1. Less chafing
  2. Do not get as cold due to low body fat
  3. Move a lot easier swimming and getting in and out of the water
Perhaps our society’s general acceptance of women’s swimwear (one or two piece) is also immodest, but if not, why is a men’s “speedo” brief less modest than a women’s form fitting one or two piece swim suit? Is there a double standard? Is there an aversion to the male form?
