Male Orders, etc. and the Disabled

Hey there everyone. Catholic Answers is always a font of knowledge, and I know someone here must have the answer to my question.

The question is simple–are there any Catholic male religious orders/congregations/societies of apostolic life/what have you that minister to those with mental disabilities.

What I’m looking for specifically is a group that helps those with mental retardation, developmental disability and the like. I currently work in this field now, and as I consider vocations, I’m curious as to whether other groups do this.

I would have recommended the St John of God order, but their outrageous record of sexual abuse against the mentally retarded here in Australia has left me broken- hearted.
