I’d be really happy if that was me. Don’t worry too much. I’ve heard it said that it’s good for couples to keep some little secrets like this, so that it’s a surprise when you find out just how much your partner really loves you. Relax.
 
My wife and daughters have on occasion surprised me with gifts.

I remember those times with great fondness.

The gifts were great, but even more so was the effort and thought that went into the process.

Yes, they bent the truth to achieve the surprise, but that was part of the joy and fun! We still laugh about it.

I have been married for over 29 years.

Well ya got Lookout Mountain, which has Rock City, and Ruby Falls. They are tourist traps in the truest of terms. Also that Aquaramine thing is pretty good.

Enough to keep ya occupied for a couple of days, but for sure it is not Orlando.

It isn’t good for more than 2 or 3 days, but there are a lot of cool spots there. I’ve heard if you have young kids there is a lot more to do, because they have some Discovery Museum that is supposed to be great.

Plus, if it were warmer there would be white water rafting, a dinner cruise, swimming…
 
I wasn’t aware that there was anything worth seeing south of Maryland, west of Pennsylvania, or east of Nevada.

So Arches National Park, Shenandoah National Park, Rocky Mountain National Park Glacier National Park, Dinosaur National Monument, The St. Louis Gateway Arch, The Sears Tower in Chicago, Graceland, Mt. Rushmore, Padre Islands, Texas, Yellowstone National Park, The Everglades, Florida Keys, (what is left of) New Orleans, The Grand Canyon, The Painted Desert, The Black Hills and a couple of other places are not worth seeing, eh? Well, thanks for the heads up. 😉
 
As a male, I would be overjoyed if my wife was able to pull something like that off. I always seem to figure everything out and would love to be surprised!
