Pro-aborts say health matters: If a preborn baby is sick, s/he can be aborted.

Pro-aborts say mental health matters: It is excusable for an unstable caretaker to abort her preborn.

Pro-aborts say convenience matters: Cumbersome preborns can be aborted.

Is level of development the only difference between preborn and postborn abortion? Consider the correlations in this August 16 Associated Press story:

A man threw his seriously ill wife four stories to her death because he could no longer afford to pay for her medical care, prosecutors said in charging him with second-degree murder.

According to court documents filed Wednesday in Jackson County Circuit Court, Stanley Reimer walked his wife to the balcony of their apartment and kissed her before throwing her over.

Blade Runner author Philip K D ick wrote a short story about post-natal abortions. Parents could abort their children up to the age of seven.

Abortion trucks would wander neighbourhoods ringing their bells looking for children marked for abortion.

Especially the handicapped and the elderly and the infirmed, or girl babies like they already do in China. More reasons to pray aren’t there. 😦

Please. This is more accurately called mental illness.
We don’t know this. Persons who do not necessarily suffer from any sort of identifiable mental illness may still freely choose to do evil.

I find that a little offensive. Mental illness does not make people choose evil. And in fact the percentage of people with a mental illness who harm others is small.

RE: original post
I do think this is just the slippery slope we are headed for.

In a discussion group, a recent college grad told me that one of the participants, a female, said (after he’d asked her) whether she thought it morally justifiable to murder anyone, based on her view (that we should actually live more like the animals; we’d have no war, crime, etc.). People viewing themselves as not any higher in justice and moral thinking than animals is crazy, IMO.

The more common killing centers become for the unborn, the more justifiable it will be for the elderly, the physically compromised and the mentally disabled.

Ever seen the movie, Soylent Green?
