Man discovers he is also a woman (NY Daily news)

The title of the article is misleading. It would be better to say that a man discovers he’s intersex (some of the other headlines I’ve seen seem to think he’s discovered he’s a woman, that’s not technically true). Even so, if she feels comfortable identifying as a woman, I won’t mislabel her.

Humans come in many different varieties, and not all of us fit into a binary notion of sex and gender.

What do they mean by “homosexual tendencies”? True hermaphrodites are typically asexual not homosexual. I’m guessing that the article is probably confusing asexual orientation with homosexual orientation in another mainstream media attempt to promote the gay agenda.
 
I don’t think we have enough information to accurately size up the situation. Firstly, he must LOOK like a man, and he was capable of fathering 6 children! Even if he has female internal organs, it doesn’t seem like he would be able to give birth. Also, the article doesn’t say if his/her DNA was tested. Wouldn’t that be the ultimate test as to the real sex?
 
There are so few people with organs from both sexes, that there is no need to make a rule for that condition, and it is unfair touse them as an example to push any time of rules or legislation for people who want sex-change operations or who have SSA.

This man has been functioning as a man just fine all these years. I will pray for him and his wife.
 
Pure secular humbug and claptrap! Any medico who goes along with such Bovine Excrement (excuse my French) is practicing pseudo-science, not medicine or psychiatry.
All too often these thing are cop-outs to sooth the guilty conscience of people who know deep inside that their actions are an abomination against nature.
One can only do such things for so long, before Mother Nature bites one on the fanny. In life, there is no free ride…especially for secularists and atheists.
We Catholics are truely lucky because by confessing our sins in Confession and atoning for our sins, we can get spiritual and psychic relief…even though for many of us, being weak, the relief is temporary.
 
Well, the real story appears to be that this couple remained committed to each other, with the love and support of their children.
