I’ll watch almost anything with Chaney in it. Taping it. He really was a better actor than his typecasting suggests. Catch him in “Of Mice and Men”. Early in tonight’s movie, there’s a front page shown, with headlines about the crash, and various other topics. Strange in a 1941 movie to imagine a newspaper with no mention of WWII going on, even if the US was perhaps not yet in it (depending on what month in 1941).
