From what I’ve heard, the Faith is barely existent in Germany anyway. And this is more & more true for Western Europe in general.
My daughter visited Germany several years ago & when she asked to go to Mass one Sunday her hosts were truly puzzled.“Why would you want to do that?” they asked her.Why go on an ordinary Sunday to Mass and not even to a church that has some significant art on display?
They really didn’t get it.Worshipping, that is.Guess the obedience part, too.😦
 
As if anything a pope could do would drive me away from the Eucharist.
