Hi all, I am an irish catholic.
I find it impossible to find friends who are devout, practicing, non compromising young catholics aged 26 - 32,

Any advice for this irish situation?
Get involved in Youth 2000. If you have time in the next two weeks get involved with helping the Pro-Life movement before the abortion referendum.

What part of the country are you in? I need a hand putting up pro-life posters in Co. Kildare of you’re up for it?

My mother’s maiden name is Phelan. My Irish Ancestor on her side of my family, came to the United States quite probably during The Famine…sorry, that doesn’t help huh.

Hello to all. As you may know there is a referendum in Ireland trying to legalize abortion on May 25. I’m trying to organize a Divine Mercy novena on May 17. You may say it anytime preferably at 3 PM. For extra sacrifice you could see it at 3 AM. Maybe God will Protect Ireland from this great evil. God bless you all.

Most of my life my grandfather told me his grandparents were off the boat from Ireland and that he was 100% Irish. After I went to college and did a genealogy project, I found out that my family has been in the America’s since the 1700’s from Wales.

I grew up hearing stories about family members in the IRA and all that. When I talked to my grandmother, his wife, about my research, she informed me he did research and thought he discovered we were from England. He didn’t like that so he created a new “Family history”.

I’m praying so much that this will not be passed. It would be the death of Ireland. Save the 8th.
