Today, we move our stuff into storage and my best friend, my cat and I look for a residential motel room. I’m on disability, and his good job just ended. He gets paid a little bit by the state to shop for me and do some chores, because of my physical disability. I have osteoarthritis in my back, neck, shoulders and legs from old injuries. He primarily works in the wine industry, and that is the job which recently ended. My name is Daniel and his name is Joseph. We are both new Catholics, going through rcia classes. We decided to join the church in early November. I was lead by the Holy Mother, and he felt the Holy Spirit while listening to the Holy father, Pope Francis. We have been friends for years.

The main prayers we need; for us to find good, stable housing, for him to find a good job, for our continued process in joining the Holy Roman Catholic church. We look forward to first confession and first communion. Also, maybe a prayer to Saint Francis of Assisi, or another appropriate prayer, for my cat’s health and sanity during this transition.

We were saving for the escrow to buy a small farm, but that money had to be used for other sudden expenses, and then we found out that we have to move from our rental. We hope to revive the dream of having a small organic, free-range chicken and organic, sustainable vegetable farm. That will take a major miracle, or a miraculous mass of minor miracles.

Thank you for your prayers.

Welcome home Daniel & Joseph. Praying for your health & recovery as well as appropriate housing. Praying to St. Francis for your cat’s health & well being. Praying for all of your intentions as well as Joseph’s.

What a marvelous dream!

Our Father,
Who art in heaven,
hallowed be Thy name;
Thy kingdom come;
Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread;
and forgive us our trespasses
as we forgive those who trespass against us;
and lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil. Amen.

Hail Mary,
Full of Grace,
The Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit
of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary,
Mother of God,
pray for us sinners now,
and at the hour of our death.
Amen.

Saint Michael, the archangel, defend us in battle, be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the devil, may God rebuke him, we humbly pray. And do you, O’ Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God thrust into Hell Satan and all the other evil spirits who prowl about the world for the ruin of souls.

Amen.

Our Father who art in Heaven, hallowed be thy name.

Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread.

And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.

And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.

Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee.

Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb Jesus.

Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death.

Amen.

Prayer to St. Joseph for the Unemployed

O Saint Joseph, we pray to you for those who are out of work, for those who want to earn their living or support their families.

You who are the patron of workers; grant that unemployment may vanish from our ranks; that all those who are ready to work may put their strength and abilities in serving their fellowmen and earn a just salary.

You are the patron of families; do not let those who have children to support and raise lack the necessary means. Have pity on our brothers and sisters held down in unemployment and poverty because of sickness or social disorders. Help our political leaders and captains of industry find new and just solutions. May each and every one have the joy of contributing, according to his abilities, to the common prosperity by an honorable livelihood. Grant that we may all share together in the abundant goods God has given us and that we may help underprivileged countries. Amen.

We hope for your conditions to improve. And welcome to the Catholic Church. 🙂

Come Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of your faithful, and kindle in them the fire of your love. Send forth your Spirit, and they shall be created, and you shall renew the face of the Earth, amen.

Our Father, who art in Heaven, hallow be thy name. Thy Kingdom come, thy will be done, on Earth as it is in Heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil, amen.

Thank you for your prayers. We are settled into a residential motel for now, but we can only afford it for a few weeks at the most. We are praying hard that we find a stable residence soon. The cat is handling things surprisingly well. He is a feisty cat, and I know that prayers to Saint Francis are being answered. May the other prayers also be similarly answered, as well as all of your prayers for your own needs and the needs of others.
