hmmm…

Very interesting, makes me want to think if I want to concentrate just on my home town diocese. I might just look at where I am living now.

Check out the South, and how about 'Bama. And a little closer to home good for Lincoln. Looks like the NE, NY, and LA isn’t doing so good, the media capitals. I guess it’d be good to know some of the numbers that went along with it.

did anyone notice that the 1+ to 50+ % dioceses had generally VERY LOW abuse costs, (one even had $0)

This doesn’t tell how many seminarians are out there… i’m not sure how many there are, but i would think from just looking at this map, the situation looks grim.

That’s what I was looking at initially, but I think I found a few that don’t hold to that trend. My thinking was that those w/ positive changes in # of priests are most likely more “orthodox” dioceses, and as such have lower incidence of abuse?
