Dear Brothers and Sisters,

Like the “seeking to empty ourselves of the spirit of the world” in our first 12 days, we can see that this week of “seeking true knowledge of self” is also the work of a lifetime! Nevertheless, I know that I want to run and finish the race well, for there is an eternal prize that awaits us. We persevere because of His Grace, though it may be painful at times. We remember the words of Jesus:
Then Jesus said to his disciples, “Whoever wishes to come after me must deny himself, take up his cross, and follow me. For whoever wishes to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake will find it. What profit would there be for one to gain the whole world and forfeit his life? Or what can one give in exchange for his life? For the Son of Man will come with his angels in his Father’s glory, and then he will repay everyone according to his conduct. (Mt. 16:24-27)
Please let us pray for one another, for the Church and for all those in most need of God’s Mercy.

Thank you for the reflection. I’m also reading Divine Intimacy as I go through the Prep for Consecration. They complement each other so perfectly. Deo gratias!

Dear SusannaGrace,

Yes, the wisdom of the Saints is such a gift to all the members of the Mystical Body of Christ! So happy to know you are also Preparing for Total Consecration or for renewal of your Consecration to Jesus through Mary. May many more of our brothers and sisters make this journey for God’s Glory and the good of all. 🙂
