I have the Concordia Lutheran confessions. Most of what Luther,Calvin and Zwingli taught according to Protestant belief can be found in that book of concord.
Really? Do you have some examples?
Did you know that the Roman Confutation agreed with many things in the Augsburg Confession?

Sure the examples are in the book of concord published by Lutheran sources.

Like “Sola Scriptura” ?
I think you’ll find that the way Lutherans and other protestants, including Calvinists, is quite different.
But of course this proves nothing that I can think of. Calvin and Zwingli were not Lutherans, and in fact that Book of Concord goes into much effort to condemn those who, for example, did not believe in th real presence. Most of what the three shared in common probably came from their common roots in the Catholic Church, like marian beliefs. In fact, that is the only Church they shared in common.
I can probably point to many beliefs in The Book of Concord that are shared by Catholics.
Come to think of it, in those areas where we agree we should rejoice. In those areas where we disagree, we should prayerfully dialogue.

I was born in a Catholic home. Was raised a Catholic. Became an Evangelical when I entered College. I want to come back to the Catholic church but I am afraid. Afraid of rejection. Afraid of learning new doctrines that I probably can’t remember.
I need guidance and help to take this step. Please, help me. I want to be a good Catholic.

Hi there Meibol,

As our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ said “Do not be afraid”, I think you can start here:
