Marian Parish Devotion

Hello all,

I am in charge of coordinating Marian devotions at my parish, and I was wondering if anybody else’s parish has nice Marian devotion activities this month? Any suggestions?
 
I am a DRE in a small parish, Holy Rosary, named in honor of Mary. Our children in religious education lead us in devotions to our Blessed Mother by a public may crowning, this year after Sunday Mass on Mother’s Day, May 12. We have an outside garden that the children made with a statue of Mary. Our priest leads us in prayer, we sing Marian hymns and children receiving First Holy Communion this year do the crowning. In prior years (before the garden was built) we crowned an indoor image of Mary.
The children received miralulous medals last Sunday. We often pray the rosary as a community.
Ask your priest, he may have a favorite Marian devotion to suggest. The music ministry may also include Marian hymns this month, if appropriate to the liturgy.
