Can anyone help me here? I pray the Rosary and have a strong devotion to Our Lady. I think the essence of a Marian spirituality is to be humble, Christ centered and contemplative and heart based; instead of intellectually mind based. I was wondering if I was into the right idea or not. Thanks ahead for your all’s help.
 
Most definitely on the right track. Doing a consecration to Our Lady is a good step, too.
 
I think that our Lady leads us to the deep spirituality like the first ascets of the desert. I mean the prayer of the heart and the hesychasm do you know it?
 
I don’t think it’s necessarily either/or.
Read the Magnificat–she was only about 14 when she said it. Sounds like Our Lady had brains and smarts in abundance.
But you’re right–humility. She is always oriented to Jesus, and not herself.
 
Yes, and also Church’ s father teaching to apply in our life. About the silence, the purity of the heart, to master our passions, senses, thoughts exc.Chastity is not just a matter of sexual abstinence. To have more peace in our soul and body too and the presence of the Holy Spirit. This world doesn’ t know this things and believes the opposite. Sorry for my poor english.
