Myriam Muller portrays Mary, Didier Bienaimé portrays Jesus. Has anyone else ever seen it? I love the music in it. It sounds very ancient and almost Egyptian. Myriam makes a very nice Mary…but the acting of Didier as Jesus I thought was quite flat. In many scenes, the actor seems sharp with his mother, and at the Last Supper he is especially dull. It seemed very amateurish and read with no emotion, rather than acted out. I’ve never seen Jesus portrayed so dully. This Jesus, however, I thought was handsome, as He is usually portrayed, or at least I think so. But any emotion or acting just wasn’t there. Has anyone else ever seen it? What did you think?
