Mariology and Jesus Prayers

I have studied and learned that Mary and I firmly believe in Mariology; helps us get closer to Jesus. So which would be best? Prayers to her for intercession or to Jesus like the Sacred heart and other prayers for Jesus’ intercession?

Any ideas? Experiences?
 
The best prayer is the sincere and humble one.
When one goes directly to God it is always wise to ask Our Lady to intercede and pray with us. Or any of the Saints.

It is best to pray neither exclusively to Mary nor exclusively to Jesus. Like many things in Catholicism, it’s not either/or but both/and.

Any particular things for Mary, or for out Lord?
 
Well, you should always be praying to God, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, Three Divine Persons in the One and only God, above all. However, asking Mary for intercession and consecrating ourselves to her are also extremely important in our Catholic faith. Mary is the greatest of all the saints and second only to God Himself. That is why we must have great respect and devotion to her.

As Mother Teresa always said: All for Jesus, all through Mary.

I know back when I was going regularly to Mass before things came up I was Praying the Rosary everyday. I felt the mother was working with me on language. Those little 4 letter words that come out from time to time. I hear Catholics use these words. Still I felt strongly she was dealing with me for this. I believe Marioology is optional in the church but I am very much for it.
