I’ve heard it said that: “Everything that God is by nature, Mary is by grace.”
I’ve been wondering about that statement. Is it true? Is it hyperbole?

Hyperbole. Mary is a human - God is God.
Mary is everything we Christians hope to become, and this is by grace. Her Assumption into heaven is a precursor to what we all hope to achieve. Her sinlessness is the goal we all strive for - and this all by grace.
