Today, Marion, a former employee of our local Retreat Center, lost her battle with cancer.

Over the past decade and a half, she had organized and led pilgrimage groups from here to Lourdes, Spain, and WYD groups from Toronto to Sydney.

May God bless her and her family as her human pilgrimage comes to an end.

Requiem aeternam dona ei, Domine: et lux perpetua luceat ei.

May Marion rest in peace. She sounds like a wonderful woman who gave a lot to the Faith. May the God of all comfort be with grieving family and friends.

Mary.

Eternal rest grant unto her, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her. May she, and all the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.

Our Lady of Sorrows, pray for us.
Good St. Joseph, pray for us.
St. John Paul II, pray for us.

***Hail Mary,
Full of Grace,
The Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit
of thy womb,
Jesus.
Holy Mary,
Mother of God,
pray for us sinners now,
and at the hour of our death
Amen.

Saint Michael, the archangel, defend us in battle, be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the devil, may God rebuke him, we humbly pray. And do you, O’ Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God thrust into Hell Satan and all the other evil spirits who prowl about the world for the ruin of souls.

Amen.

Our Father who art in Heaven, hallowed be thy name.

Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread.

And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.

And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.

Amen.

O Loving Father and Savior, send your angels to carry the soul of your servant from this earth to the heavenly place of eternal and everlasting life. Let family and friends who have passed before in faith be reunited in joy with the departed. Forgive any wrongs that have been committed and welcome this beloved spirit into the warm embrace of your unending peace. Amen.

Eternal rest grant unto her, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her. May she rest in peace. Amen.

Gracious and merciful Father, please have mercy on her soul, and grant comfort to her family and loved ones.
