Mark 4:24 interpretation

How do you interpret this passage?

24 He also said to them, 'Take notice of what you are hearing. The standard you use will be used for you – and you will receive more besides

The charity with which you deal with others will be the standard for how God deals with you. And, make no mistake – there’s a limit to your resources and charity, but no limits to God’s. There’s a whole lot more at stake than the amount you’re able to share with others.

Wow, that is a bland and misleading translation.

What Jesus says is, “Take heed of what you are going to hear.”

That is the alert signal, the windup of the pitch.

Then He says, “According to the measure that you give out, you shall have it measured out to you, and the more you will be given.”

So if you are giving out stuff in teacups, God will only send you a teacup of spiritual gifts. If you are giving everything in carloads, God will give you carloads of help.

Primarily this is about charity, but it applies to.anything you.do in response to Jesus’ teaching. The seed that falls on good ground must produce a crop, and the more generously you respond, the more He will help and reward you. This ties into the parable of the talents, where those who do more are given more to invest, and those who refuse to try, will have their stuff taken away.

Respectfully opinion only. Then if one is giving out hatred toward others, one will get carloads of hatred upon themselves also?

Our heavenly Father is not the one making the choices we make, or the one sending us car loads whether good or bad, but we are?

Has you judge others by your measures you also will be judged by your own measure right back on us?..Our heavenly Father is he not telling us…your measuring tool you use…is not mine measuring tool I use??

Our heavenly Father makes it clear…We will reap what we sow?

All have been given… Free Will…our Heavenly Father has given us authority over ourselves…Free Will. I force no one nor force no one to Love Me or accept My Word as Truth…Free Will is given to all…your choice not mine…

Written…let your yes be yes and your no be no…

Meaning your choices made, whether good/bad I have nothing to do with? Your measuring tool used in judging others or how you chose to live your life and your own free will choices… is not my measuring tool used nor my choices but our own, right?

So I will use your measuring tool you have chosen to use upon others I will use also upon you …fair right?

Make the choice to give no mercy, or forgiveness to others you also will receive no mercy or forgiveness also?

Jesus choose …Love. Mercy, came to serve those in great want and need … but in this world many did not love Jesus and Jesus still continued to greatly suffered in persecution… right till the very end of his earthly life, right? Through no fault of our heavenly Father either… right?

In the end you will reap what you sown?
Let your yes be yes and your no be no?
Were in charge and we will be held accountable for our own choices?

Why do we have the larger in numbers in need even thou they give much much to others. ( were are their blessings??)…yet while the few have more then plenty?

Seem not to agree fully with you…
Why does the bad prosper and the good suffer?

Jesus tells us be careful what we join to??..
Let your yes be yes and your no be no?
You will reap what you sow?
Those who give no mercy will receive no mercy?
Those who forgive not will not be forgiven?
Those who have given much will receive much in the end on judgment day,…good or bad right?

And if you want to enter the Kingdom obey My Commandments accept to follow and live by…or deny them choices are ours to make.

But there is no promise we will not suffer in this world and be persecuted to the end, even if we love fully, obey fully, or in giving all we have to others, not even for Jesus, was there?

Jesus received his blessings by those in this world, who sought to serve him and chose to love him…they will not be forgotten their reward, written?>> their great treasures in store…awaits them!!

Respectfully opinion only but does not say …when or where you will receive more besides does it?

Meaning the measuring tool or standard you use upon others will be the very same one I will use upon you? Good enough for you to use on others, should be good enough to use upon you also? Not my choice…all given Free Will…so I will use…what you have chosen, what your standards are upon you… …seems fair right?

And should we just take a single verse and not read the …whole chapter in all it entails to give us a fuller understanding in what Jesus is teaching and saying? Read all of Mark Chapter 4…and maybe chapter before and after also?

Example other teaching and sayings can also help define what is being said here also…for all must flow in context within Jesus teaching right?

You will reap what you sow? Good/bad… If this is your standard?
Let your yes be yes and your no be no? …Your standard you have accepted whether it be good or bad?
Those who give no mercy will receive no mercy?.. If this is your standard?
Those who forgive not will not be forgiven? … If this is your standard?

If this is your standard to give much…My standard is…Those who have given much, know not what treasures… await… have in store for them. ( heavenly Kingdom standards??)

Take notice of what you are hearing… ( pay attention to what I am saying here… seek understanding? )

All are given Free Will, Love forces not… Free Will given to all, our Heavenly Father…gives to us. the power…the sole authority to you… I have given it to you. now…let your yes be yes and your no be no etc?? Now… I will not be held accountable for your own choices, for your own standards you have set for yourself, to use upon others, I will use also, upon you… your own standards seems fair right? If one thought they were good standards then they should be good to use upon you also right?

What standards you have freely chosen to use, will be used for you and upon you on judgement day??..all have been given Free Will…

I have told you within my Word my standards I use when judging others who have offended me and my standards on how to return to Me? My standard is to give Mercy if truly sorry? Forgiveness if ones changes their ways? My standards to give freely and sow good seeds of Love?

Use my standards upon others or use your standards the choice is ours and I will use your standards you have chosen then upon you, not mine?

Whether your standards where right or wrong in judging others, they are your own standards, your own way of measuring others by, your own standards chosen to live by…( so do not blame me??)… I have chosen to use your own standards, freely chosen…upon you on judgement day?>>>>>…good enough for you , should be good enough for me to use your own standard upon you also …right?
