I have had trouble interpreting these passages as they say:

There are some standing here who will not taste death until they see that the kingdom of God has come with power.

Now it seems he is saying “I will come again before some of you die”

Lots of people have said things such as “this is an allusion to the church” or “this is about pentacost”.

But I think, maybe he is saying something else.

The word for death, in this verse is also used to allude to the “second death” in Revalations.

Do you think Jesus is saying here "some of you shall enter my kingdom without first having to go to hell like the ones of the old testament did (before he redeemed them).

Just wondering what other people think, I’ve spend all afternoon trying to figure this one out.

Another possibility is He was talking about the destruction of Jerusalem and the Second Temple in 70 AD and the associated expiration of the Old Covenant.
