Hello everyone on the Eastern Catholic Forum! My grandfather was a Maronite Catholicc and on the anniversary of his death we went to the local Maronite Church. And all I can say is…it was the most amazing experience of our lives. Nothing against my Roman Catholic brothers, but the Qurbono (right?) was so much more reverent and I really felt like I was in Gods presence. Long story short, we have now been attending quite often and the priest whom we have gotten to know well has me doing the reading of the epistle and wants me to be an altar server. Is it wrong for me to attend? My confirmation Saint, St Charbel was Maronite and I just love the Maronites. Can I attend and could anyone give me a little information about some basic traditions? Thanks for reading, God bless you.
