Marriage between Protestant and Catholic who became Protestant

There is a Protestant who married a Catholic who has converted to Protestantism. She has not formally converted to Protestantism.

Is this marriage valid? Why?

Is this marriage sacramental?

There are a lot of things to consider. I am not a canon lawyer, but, from what I have read, the marriage could very well be valid if the nuptials were celebrated within the Catholic Church, either by way of a Nuptial Mass or a Nuptial Liturgy (readings, nuptial rite), or, if the marriage occured in the Protestant ecclesial community and was witnessed by a priest (this would require permission from the bishop).

If the marriage was contracted in the Protestant ecclesial community without the witness of a priest, then, it could be considered invalid due to defect of form. Or, if the marriage was contracted before a civil judge, the issue of defect of form would also apply, as either marriage occurred outside of the Catholic Church.

A Mariage cannot be Sacramental unless it is also valid.

A person who stops practicing the Catholic faith but does not formally leave the Catholic faith is still bound to Catholic law concerning Marriage Form for validity.
