One last thought. The OP seems to believe that not a sacrament = not sacred. This is simply unreasonable, for both Catholics and Protestants.
After all, neither Protestants nor Catholics believe that the Bible is a sacrament, but that does not mean that neither group believes that the Bible is not sacred.
