Fellow Members :
I am in great need.
Im 47 and my wife 37 , both doctors , good at our jobs but I suppose not in our personal lifes
Got a teenage son from a previous relationship .
Been married to S for 2 years , together for 5 .
Before the wedding , our life was truly and blissfully happy , but immediately after the wedding , I felt that my wife changed , became more stern, hard and a bit less affectionate , less tolerant to my son , something that started to hurt immensely ( same goes for my dog ). Very quickly she became pregnant , as was her wish to have a daughter , something that was granted , a beautiful baby daughter was born a year ago . She became almost obsessed with the baby , and felt that was oushing the rest aside and apart .
At the same time , I had to support financially my brother as he lost his job ( he lives in USA ), and all became too much for me. I nearly ( or perhaps I did have ) a bit of a mental breakdown , and unfortunately the biggest casualty of a combination of a new baby plus my stresses of my brothers job, looking after his whole family financially plus wife’s own stresses , we started arguing , and a lot .
I felt unsupported and I guess she felt the same .
Many arguments and discussions after, I made the fatal mistake of calling her names , and unfortunately there was an episode of violence from both of us .
In this crazy rhythm , when we tried to solve things out , they got worse .
I was not convinced of marriage counselling as here in the UK are not pro marriage but anti marriage !!!
I noticed a change , as she has been talking to her female friends ( no male or third party involved ).
One day 6 weeks ago , I called her to tell that I loved both of them , and I was on my way home , her reply was that she had left home with our baby and that the letters from lawyers were on the way .
I managed to speak to her only 3 weeks after she left ( at her parents ) and I was astonished at her aggression and change of heart .
She said that she didn’t loved me anymore and was not coming back .
I am asking for your prays as I really need a miracle , at some point I hope she can see the light and the negative impact that a divorce will have on all of us .
One thing I don’t like , is that her mum does all that Reiki and some of her friends work with mediums and people like that ( esoteric ? - she says that they work with Archangels ? ) .
Im afraid that they have also played a part in her decision to leave .
At least temporarily , correspondence from solicitors have ceased .
Please pray for this marriage , for my family , for the reversal of her decision , for our daughter and my son.
I am suffering beyond words , experiencing a pain that I cannot bear .
Thanks for reading and your support .
PS: if you know of any pray for my wife to come back will be greatly appreciated .

Sorry I forgot to mention:
She does not know the word forgive , let alone forget .
I also have prayed for her to open her heart to the Lord, to learn to be more accepting , to aim not for perfection but for good ( good will do for me ) to be less perfectionist and to be happy with what she has got ( a lot I must say , intelligence , talent , a good job and a gorgeous daughter ) , but it seems to be that is not good enough.
Sorry , Im devastated .
Please please pray for us , Thank you

Praying for the intentions of all.
Thank you very much .
Went to Church today , felt a little bit better .
As Fr G to pray for us as he is well informed of the situation .
He offered to pray for a miracle on Monday and to free her heart from arrogance and pride .
I have seek forgiveness for what I did , I truly want things to change and to be as happy as once were .
Thanks Again for your pray.

Hail Mary,
Full of Grace,
The Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit
of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary,
Mother of God,
pray for us sinners now,
and at the hour of death. Amen.

**Spiritual Warfare Prayer for Marriage **

Loving heavenly Father, I thank You for Your perfect plan for our marriage. I know that a marriage functioning in Your will and blessing is fulfilling and beautiful. In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, I bring our marriage before You, that You may make it all You desire it to be. Please forgive me for my sins of failure in our marriage. [Confess specific and particular areas of failure.]

In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, strengthened by the intercession of the Immaculate Virgin Mary, Mother of God, of Blessed Michael the Archangel, of the Blessed Apostles Peter and Paul, and all the Saints and Angels of Heaven, and powerful in the holy authority of His Name, I ask you to tear down, O Lord, all of Satan’s strongholds designed to destroy our marriage. In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, I ask, Father, that You help us to break all relationships between us that have been established by Satan and his wicked spirits. I will accept only the relationships established by You and the blessed Holy Spirit. I invite the Holy Spirit to enable me to relate to my wife in a manner that will meet her needs. I will submit our conversation to You, that it may please You. I submit our physical relationship to You that it may enjoy Your blessing. I submit our love to You that You may cause it to grow and mature.

I desire to know and experience in marriage the fullness of Your perfect will. Open my eyes to see all areas where I am deceived. Open my wife to see any of Satan’s deception upon her. Make our union to be the Christ-centered and blessed relationship You have designed in Your perfect will. I ask this in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ with thanksgiving. Amen.

St. Rita, prayer for us!

Prayer to St. Jude for Desperate Soul’s Marriage

Prayer for spousal unity…

O God, by your power you have made everything out of nothing.
In the beginning you created the universe and made us in your own likeness.
You gave man the constant help of woman so that man and woman should no longer be two, but one flesh, and you teach us that what you have united may never be divided.
Lord Jesus, look with love upon us in our life together as husband and wife.
We ask your blessing to live with each other in peace and harmony.
May we always bear with one another’s weaknesses and grown from each other’s strengths.
Help us to forgive one another’s failings and grant us patience, kindness, cheerfulness and the spirit of placing the well-being of one another ahead of self.
May the love that brought us together grow and mature with each passing year.
Bring us both ever closer to you through our love for each other. We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen

:gopray:

Holy Michael the Archangel defend us in the day of battle.
Be our safeguard against the wickedness and snares of the devil.
May God rebuke him, we humbly pray,
and do Thou, O Prince of the Heavenly Host,
by the Power of God,
thrust down to hell satan and all the wicked spirits,
who wander through the world for the ruin of souls.
Amen.

Remember, O most loving Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone fled to your protection, implored your help, or sought your intercession and was left forsaken. Inspired by this confidence, I fly unto you, O Virgin of virgins, my Mother. To you I come, before you I stand, a sorrowful sinner. Despise not my words, O Mother of the Word, but in your mercy, hear and answer me.
Amen
