Marriage vow renewal?

Have you ever? When in your marriage? Is it very common?
Should it be happening more often than it does?
I know very little about it ,but I would love to hear of anyone’s thoughts and experiences 🙂

Probably not , more along the lines of having a mass and blessing,or a blessing included in the mass on a Sunday.
We renew our baptismal promises, but I guess marriage vows don’t really need renewing ?
 
My parents will be having their 60th wedding anniversary this year and I think they will be doing the same Cruciferi .🙂

I had a papal parchment blessing for my first marriage,
that marriage was found invalid.What is usually done with a papal blessing parchment in that case?
 
Do you have kids from that attempt at marriage? If so I’d save it for them. If not it could be burned or buried (as with any blessed object). Another thing is to donate it to RCIA or the DRE so they could use it as “show and tell”.
 
I got one for our 25th anniversary. There were several options available, and it came out really nice. I recommend getting one! 🙂

We were married for 15 years when I asked my Pastor if he could bless our marriage, so we had a blessing said for us after Mass one Sunday morning.

It was really nice. 🙂
