I felt like that, and honestly I believe that feeling of being welcome yet not able to take part led me to convert. So I am glad I wasn’t able to receive as it made me want to convert so I could. Had to have been from God or I would have been ‘content’ to stay Methodist and have occasional communion. Even then I used to think I want communion every week why can’t we ? So I do believe the Holy Spirit can use this to lead others to the Church
