The Protestant must first have their Marriage investigated by the Tribunal and it determined if it was or was not a valid Marriage. Commonly called the Annulment process. Before a Catholic could consider entering into Marriage with a previously Married person.

Hello!!

So is exactly the same that with a Catholic???

Thanx

Yes, any person with a prior Marriage cannot attempt another Marriage until or unless the first is found to be invalid.
Unless one is a widow or a widower. Grass widows and grass widowers need an annullment.
