I wasn’t denigrating her by any means.
Simply observing that her casual readiness to contracept and accede to oral is not indicative of a deep Catholic conversion and suggests her “conversion” was itself a passive acceding also. Trying to appeal to “team Catholic” is therefore unlikely to motivate change re NFP and a more loving relationship.

Not for a lot of women. This is why some marriage counseling may really be helpful. It sounds like they need some help communicating with eachother.
