My wife and I were Baptists when we were married and married by our Baptist Pastor. We are going through RCIA right now. When we finish, will we have to be “remarried” in the Catholic Church? Neither of us were Catholic before and we are new to the faith.

Hi,

The Catholic Church recognizes the marriages between non-Catholics as valid. So you will not have do anything about your marriage after you become Catholics. Welcome home!
