spouse does not want to raise our children in the Church. Is this breaking our marriage vow? Does this invalidate our marriage?

I could give a lot more details, you can look through my history, but basically as the question is asked, how should I understand this situation?

No, that does not invalidate your marriage.
What you need to do is make an appointment to discuss the situation with your Pastor.

I’m pretty sure during your vows you agree to bring your children up in the church.

I sound like a record player on this forum, but I think your answer is the rosary. You need to pray the rosary about it.

There is no problem that can’t be solved by the holy rosary - sister lucia, fatima seer

use youtube to guide you - rosary only takes 15 minutes out of your day

No, your wife’s difficult behavior does not automatically invalidate your marriage. You should be talking to a marriage counselor and your pastor about this. Your responsibility to educate your children in the faith remains, despite your wife’s issues. If you divorce/pursue annulment, is that going to make anyone’s life better, or worse?

No, that is only in mixed marriages, it is simply assumed a sane Catholic couple want to “procreate” their faith to their children as well.

While its very distresssing it is not a breaking of Catholic marriage vows.

Try counselling with a priest or a Catholic marriage counsellor to talk it through.
It isn’t the end of the world for your kids but needlessly destabilising your marriage may be.

IIRC your wife is currently battling cancer.

It is not abnormal for people facing a serious illness to get mad at God.

Let your wife get through this time. Love her, support her, defend her. Pray and fast for her.

Let Christ work through you.

Trying to tell her she is “invalidating your marriage” does not one lick of good.

No, this has been going on for years. I have tried to be accommodating, but have not been able to find a compromise.
so your spouse must have had a change of faith since your marriage.
Yes.
