Married Missios

I will be getting married in August. My bride to be and I are discerning God’s will for our marriage and where he is calling us to serve.

Recently mission work has be coming up in our lives as suggestions and really getting us excited.

Does anyone know of any missions (foreign or not) that allow you to live in community and serve as a married couple?

Yes, I believe the Servants of the Poor in the Third World do. I read it in a newsletter of theirs a year or so ago. I believe there are videos about them on the net.

I do not know if you would live in a community, per se, but Maryknoll has a branch of lay missioners. I am sure that some of them are married.
