My question is do I follow my belief and return to the church alone.
First of all, welcome to forums. I myself am an atheist. If you wish to return to church then do so, though it might be more of a solo activity.
I have discussed this with my husband who will attend with me but has not any real interest in the mass and would not like to force him into a uncomfortable situation.
If he isn’t too resistant to going then a compromise would be him attending mass with you a few times a year plus the big HDOs. He is not there for conversion but rather to accompany you in something important to you. It might be undisputed
I am being tested a choice between God and husband
As long as both are respectful to each other’s view I don’t see this as an “either or”.

To be clear I am not upset my husbands are non believers, and have not in any way tried to convert them. I Except that a practicing catholic does not divorce and the invalid marriage in the church but valid by law. However when meeting someone as a women I cannot go out and force a RC man to marry me, to be honest have never met one. not happy at being divorced and of course there are other reasons for the first marriage break down and all was done to resolve and if we could have prayed together and seeked help from a community I look back and think perhaps it could have lasted. Moving forward my husband of 23 years and not of the same faith, does surprise me that he knows the bible better than I and we do discuss this often he had religious instruction as school. He has offered to go to church with me and this maybe a good step forward. We live in a beautiful country Spain surrounded by little villages all with big elaborate churches. Its main religion is RC and religious fiestas all year round, and perhaps I am here for a reason and God has blessed us by guiding us here, and perhaps why I am asking the questions.

With EWTN I found the best way to watch is:
  1. With internet streaming using a Ruku or similar device. Download the channel.
  2. With the app on a cell phone. The layout is just as good as streaming tv but tends to slow/lockup. (At least on mine. You may have better luck.)
  3. Using a browser such as Google and going to www.ewtn.com. This is probably the poorest choice. Their web site isn’t that good.
YouTube is also a good place to start.

Is your husband interested in why humans regularly slaughter each other in the millions?

Paste the following into you browser and hold on to your seat.
[Daily Catholic Mass - 2019-08-14 - Fr. Mitch - YouTube] Remove the brackets.
  • This is the actual video:

I suggest you and everyone here listen to Fr. Mitch Pacwa’s video several times. Pass it on!

There are no practicing Catholic men in Spain? Has the Church gone downhill there so much that everyone has left the Church or are all CINOs (Catholic In Name Only)?
